The First Friday Art Walk runs from 5-7 p.m. in downtown Ellensburg. Here’s a look at what’s showing:


Catalyst Co-Working, new, 312 N. Pearl St.: Featured artist, Stevena House, Halloween art.

Cornerstone Pie, new, 307 E. Fifth Ave.: Theo Denner’s Rock and Roll prints thru the ages.

D&M Coffee Downtown, new, 323 N. Pearl St.: Showcasing local works of art.

Ellensburg Public Library, new, 209 N. Ruby St.: Showing Paper Art by Elaine Bleggi.

Edward Jones, 415 N. Pearl St.: Showing art by local artists

Gallery One Visual Arts Center, new, 408 N. Pearl St.: Main Gallery — Annual Holiday Show. Eveleth Green Gallery — Gallery One Instructors Show. Hallway Gallery — Student Art Club Exhibit – What’s New in CWU.

Gard Vintners, 311 N. Pearl St.: Gard will have pictures by David Carrothers with live music from Chase Craig.

Grapes and Crepes, new, 115. E. Fourth Ave.: Our artist will be Teddy Charlton: TMW Charlton exhibits new original watercolors, “An American Cowgirl, Joyce E. Weeks,” images of her Mom’s youth, commemorating Joyce’s 90th birthday this month. The exhibit will include sunflowers and local landscapes.

Kittitas County Historical Museum, new, 114 E. Third Ave.: “Remember When…?” an annual display that a nostalgic look at a part of the collective past. A refreshing our school exhibit, our kitchen exhibit, and some other tidbits to reflect upon. This exhibit will be up through February.

Restorations in the Burg, new, 312 N. Pine St.: David Wheeler will be displaying his collection of architectural renderings, drawn with Computer Aided Design. He has recreated historically accurate drawings of most of downtown Ellensburg’s significant buildings, block by block, as they originally were. David also possesses a wealth of knowledge about Ellensburg history to help illuminate his fascinating renderings.

The Mule, new, 119 E. Fourth Ave.: Featuring the music of the Thomas Creek Band.

Westernn Culture and Art Center, new, 416 N. Pearl St.: Western Culture and Art Center is having their first anniversary Gala Celebration from 5-7 p.m. at 416 N. Pearl. Live jazz music with Elliot Sander and Friends, appetizers, no host bar.

Youth Services of Kittitas County, new, 213 W. Third Ave.: Showing student artworks and giving an art event with all materials provided. All ages invited and all welcome no matter the art experience.

420 Gallery, new, 420 N. Pearl St.: LOFT Art Gallery features paintings by local artist, Sam Birks-Fisher. First Floor Happy Birthday to Ellensburg Community Radio. Come celebrate with us from 5-7 p.m. Free birthday cake, no host bar featuring Ellensburg Distillery, great tunes inside and out, bon fire out front on the sidewalk.
